Segment #1: "Redskins @ Raiders Postgame Review"

Raider Greg reviews last weeks game in Oakland vs the Redskins, where Bruce Gradkowski injured both knees in the 2nd quarter and could not finish the game, resulting in a 34-13 defeat.

Segment #2: "Chucky Gets Funky In Oakland"

John Gruden made a surprise visit to Ricky's Sports Bar in San Leandro during the Raiders Rally on Saturday night  before the Redskins game. Gruden was in town with the Monday Night Football crew, covering the 49ers game, but instead of hanging out in San Francisco on Saturday night, he showed up at Ricky's. He went next door into John Vella's Locker Room and bought a Bo Jackson Jersey, which he sported into Ricky's....and the place went wild. He made his MNF crew members Mike Tirico and Ron Jaworski buy Raiders caps also.

Would Gruden be willing to come back and coach the Raiders? Raider Greg describes the scene, and what Gruden told the Raiders fans, as told by Raiders fans who were present, including Gorilla Rilla.

Segment #3: "Frye Is The Guy"

Coach Cable announced that Charlie Frye will start the game in Denver this Sunday. Raider Greg gives his thoughts, and we hear Coach Cable's announcement and Charlie Frye's comments to the media.

Segment #4: "Raiders @ Broncos Pregame Analysis"

The Raiders travel to Invesco Field @ Mile High this Sunday. The Raiders lost their home game vs the Broncos in the 3rd game of the season by a score of 23-3. We are hoping for a repeat of last year's game in Denver, when the Raiders suprised the Broncos with a 31-10 upset victory.

In this game preview Raider Greg gives his breakdown of the game, and we even hear the thoughts of a couple of Denver Broncos fan podcasters, who host the BroncosCast. They sound pretty confident, just like they were before last year's game in Denver.

Segment #1: "Raiders @ Steelers Postgame Review"

The Raiders went into the Steelers house, played a close low scoring game until the 4th quarter, then traded touchdowns back and forth three times in the fourth quarter to take a 27-24 victory....putting a big hurt on the reining Superbowl champion Steelers playoff hopes.

Raider Greg goes over the game and gives you his thoughts on what this win means to the Raiders and their future.

Greg also mentioned RNP forum member Raider Mike's YouTube video on this victory, entitled "WEEK #13 Oakland Vs Pittsburgh 2009".
Be sure to watch this very entertaining video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcK1c3HngPQ

The 3-9 Redskins are coming to Oakland this Sunday, after almost pulling off a huge upset against the undefeated New Orleans Saints. Despite their record, the Redskins are no guaranteed win, as all Raiders fans know. The Raiders have a recent history of winning a big game against a favored team, then playing poorly against a lesser team and losing. Raider Greg discusses the Redskins players and what the Raiders need to do to win this game and put together a rare two game win streak....and maybe adding more wins to the streak before the end of the 2009 season.

Segment #1: "A Tribute To Al Davis"........Why?

On this week's "Raiders Report", a TV show that airs weekly on the west coast and also is available afterwards on Raiders.com, they featured a one hour special entitled: "Al Davis: An AFL Legend (Looking back at Raiders owner Al Davis' contributions to pro football). It was a very well produced program, and Raider Greg tells you how he felt as he watched it, and the information that the program contains. We recommend that you watch the show yourself.

Here is the website url that will take you straight to the video:

Segment #2: "Cable Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest"

Greg talks about the never-ending controversy surrounding Coach Cable. Raiders CEO Amy Trask is heading up an investigation into the matter and she's working with and reporting to the NFL. "The NFL has triggered an evaluation process under the personal conduct policy for Oakland Raiders coach Tom Cable to determine whether he needs mandatory counseling...logistics are being communicated for a timetable in which Cable will be evaluated by independent doctors". Where will be the outcome?

Here are a few good articles relating to the issue:

Segment #3: "Raiders Fan vs Raiders Fan"

Half way through the 7th consecutive disappointing Raiders season, Raiders fans are becoming stressed out to the point of attacking one another on blogs, forums, etc. Disagreements, accusing other fans of being less of a fan, etc. Raider Greg shares his observations on the matter.

Segment #4: "Queef The Chiefs!"

The Pregame Show for this weeks home game vs. the Kansas City Chiefs. They let for most of the game in K.C., and the Raiders stole a victory in the final two minutes. The Chiefs will want to take an early lead in this game and hold on to it this time. The Raiders will want to do the same, since they have a hard time coming from behind in games. Plus, the Chiefs are one of only a few teams left on the Raiders schedule who have a losing record. The Raiders can't afford to lose this game. Raider Greg gives his thoughts.

Segment #3:  Raiders at Texans Postgame Thoughts

Brief thoughts on the Raiders 29-6 loss in Houston to the Texans.

Segment #4:  Raiders at Giants Pregame Thoughts

Brief thoughts on the Raiders upcoming loss to the New York Giants. That's right, I said "upcoming loss". Raiders Greg throws in the towel in this pregame segment, but says he is being "positive". He is POSITIVE that the Giants will beat the Raiders.....badly. He invites anyone who thinks the Raiders will win this one to call into the Boneline and tell him how you feel.

Segment #5:  The Boneline (our toll-free voicemail line) 1-800-620-7181

In this show we hear from 14 callers.
This week we had several calls that we could not air because the volume of the caller was way too low. When you call the Boneline, try to call on a landline and not a cellphone. The quality is better. When you speak, hold the mouthpiece of the phone close to your mouth and speak in a normal voice. Don't yell, just speak normally.

Here are this week's callers:

01.  1ST Time Caller from Massachusettes
02.  "Barry Zito"
03.  Raider Pissed Off
04.  Double X Raider
05.  Eric from L.A.
06.  Raider Ed from Indio CA

10.  Raider Sid from Moval
11.  Raider Tim from Oklahoma

You too can call in to the boneline and get on the podcast yourself. Toll-Free 1-800-620-7181. Keep your call under 2 minutes. If we get a lot of calls we may not be able to air all of them, so make them good. Preference may be given to first time callers.

Segment #1:  "Broncos at Raiders Postgame"

The painful story of the Raiders' loss to the Denver Broncos at home by the score of 23-3. After three games played this season, JaMarcus Russell has the worst quarterback rating of any NFL quarterback, and also leads the league in many other undesirable categories. Raider Greg gives his take on this situation.

Also, in this postgame segment, Greg shares a take from the RAIDERTAKE blog. You can read that entire blog article on the Broncos Postgame here:  http://raidertake.blogspot.com/2009/09/broncos-pregame-take.html

Segment #2:  "Where Do We Go From Here?"

We have had a segment with this same title at the end of the last couple of seasons. This season Raider Greg chose to do a "where do we go from here?" segment after only the first three games. After 6 years of losing seasons (and now going on 7), this sentiment seems to be the unescapable question throughout the Raider Nation. Raider Greg gives his feelings.

Segment #3:  The Boneline

In this show we hear from 19 callers to our toll-free voicemail "Boneline". We have too many calls to air them all. We apologize if your call didn't make it onto this show.

In this Boneline segment, we took a new approach. This one is titled, "The Raider Nation Podcast Group Therapy Session". After that loss to the Broncos at home, we felt that Raider Nation was in need of a little "therapy". It was therapeutic for Raider Greg. We hope you get some benefit from it as well.

We had 19 "Patients" who participated in this week's GROUP THERAPY SESSION:
