Raiders and NFL Talk / Re: REBUILDING the OAKLAND RAIDERS
« Last post by Toecutter on March 01, 2015, 12:01:35 AM »
Haven't watched any...but have read various reports...whatever they're worth.

We need a big, physical WR who can (please Lord) catch the friggin ball. Why not use a first pick? We used one on a CB who could conceivably drop dead tying his shoes, (sorry DJH but I wouldn't have picked ya).

We got the QB (finally) now give him some weaponry.

Then fill some holes with the next three, maybe four picks. They all have to be starters, no projects. Then, FA, maybe a couple of stars, don't be stupid paying too much.

...This is RM's moment, this draft must be his opus for us to be climbing back up into the light.

...Otherwise...it's gloryhole for us...

Well, I'm thinking there are some pretty decent WR's available....do the Raiders go that route in the draft or try to pick someone off in free agency?  Draft defence maybe?

Anyone watching the Combine?  Any thoughts on the WR's or some of the other 'key' positions needed by the Silver and Black?

I was listening to the Sirius/XM Moving the Chains program tonight. Last call taken (2/16/15) was Obi-Wan Raider! It was a treat hearing someone talking about the Raiders and not the Patriots, Bills or the lowly Broncos!  I thought that I heard XX Raider last year (or someone who sounded like him). Just wanted to put that out there.

Go Raiders!

Oh wow....wish I had heard that one!
