Thanks for the opinions Kev. I agree with everything. Congrats on another strong year in our fantasy football football league, although you had some bad luck at the end with the 5th place finish. As usual you had a strong draft (Winner of the Best Draft award), and you're our only 3-time League Champion (2009, 2012, 2013). Good luck in 2016!

I really enjoy the RNP Fantasy Football League and look forward to being a 4-time League Champion. On another note, imagine how awesome it is going to be when the RNP will be doing shows during a winning season, I believe that the closest was an 8-8 season.  The boneline will surely ring off the hook!

Go Raiders!

Yes, the closest is the TWO 8-8 seasons. Sometimes Greg gets discouraged, or he just gets overwhelmed with too many things outside the podcast he's dealing with....and he talks about calling this quits. I have to remind him of just what you're saying. It would be sad to have done this podcast for over ten seasons without one winning one.....and then to have us go to the playoffs and not be covering it? I know that would never happen. Greg would have to come out of the woodwork and get back into it! I think the promise of this season is giving him some renewed energy to keep going. There's no stopping now! (at least until we get two or three back-to-back losses....then hold your breath!......and watch out for the all caps posts on his Facebook page!)  :)

Streaming is of a very good quality Kev, and yes, Gamepass is like a dvr where you can watch a game on demand.

Gamepass is very good. I've had it for a few seasons now and haven't missed a Raiders game during that time.

How is the streaming on gamepass? Smooth or buffering? Do you get to see the coaches angle of the games? I always watch the games on the Sunday Ticket but it seems that gamepass is like a dvr, where I can watch the game whenever I want, is that right?

Go Raiders!

I miss the activity that used to be in the forums. Randy, you're most likely right, that everyone is probably on Twitter or Facebook, which are two things that I really don't get into. It seems that there is too much drama on FB.

As for the Raiders, I'm really excited in the direction that they've taken, especially most recently with free agency. I'm really looking forward to this season!  Every year, as a fan, it seems like our battle cry was "Wait till next year!", well, now it's next year and we are looking solid! I am so stoked!

Finally, for anyone who's keeping tabs... I am a strong supporter for Carr! Hell, this should never even be a subject for discussion but it always tends to wiggle it's way in somehow (like I just did).

Raiders and NFL Talk / Statistics
« Last post by Randy on March 23, 2016, 02:01:15 PM »
Whenever a Raider hater throws their statistics at you about how many consecutive losing seasons the Raiders had, or how many "non-winning" seasons....or whatever.......you can throw this statistic back at them. Ask them this...

Remind them that all NFL teams have gone through at least one period of down years. Tell them to look at the ENTIRE record book, not just the last 10 or 12 years.

Tell them that prior to the Raiders current slump of non-winning seasons (2003-2015)......how many times did the Raiders have even BACK TO BACK losing seasons, going back to when Al Davis took over as Head coach in 1963?

The answer is two. Two times they had back to back losing seasons between 1963 and 2002.
'87-'88 and '96-'97.

Wins and Losses:

1987: 5-10
1988: 7-9

1996: 7-9
1997: 4-12

That's it....just twice in 40 seasons (1963-2002) the Raiders had back to back losing seasons.

How about the other teams in the NFL?
How many times NFL teams had back to back losing seasons from 1963 to 2002?

Here is the answer:

Raiders        2
Vikings        4
Redskins      6
Seahawks    6
Cowboys      7
Dolphins      7
49ers          7
Browns        8
Chiefs         8
Steelers      9
Broncos      9
Giants        9
Packers       9
Bills           11
Patriots      11
Rams         11
Bengals      12
Bears         12
Colts          12
Titans        12
Chargers    13
Lions          13
Buccaneers  16
Eagles         17
Cardinals     18
Falcons        20
Saints         20
