Good to hear that our boys are staying with the program! That's exactly what we need with the uncertainty of this season.

That is great news! Jason is becoming a leader. We all knew King Richard was a leader, but now Jason is stepping up. Once there is a season I cannot wait to see how he develops as our QB.

Jason Campbell and Richard Seymour setting up a one week training camp in Atlanta, Georgia

I think this is great news.  It shows a leader on both sides of the ball.  Too bad Nnamdi, Bush and Zach Miller, and the other free agents will not participate...

Bush can leave and take more money... Just make sure it's with a team like Seattle, Miami or St Louis (A team out of our division)

BTW... Lets cross that bridge when we come to it... Bush ain't going anywhere. SILVER & BLACK BABY!!!

Hey, to some of these guys they would be loyal........but to others it is a business and BUSH can go and be a feature back on any other team and not have to split carries....................I hope he stays.....the DUI should work in our favor.............................

McFadden ran surprisingly well inside when his number was called. Mind you he probably won't last all 16 games carrying the load. His DUI may help our chances of resigning him.

So if he could make several MILLION dollars more with another team, he would say, "no.....the Raiders let me sit on the bench for a year....and I am so grateful for that....it means more to me than making a measly few MILLION dollars EXTRA..... EVERY.......year." Kind of like Raider Greg would say if another fire department offered him $5 Million a year to move to that department, Greg would say, "no....I'm faithful to my fire department....they were the first department that hired me....so I would rather keep making $35 an hour at the place that gave me my first chance than go somewhere else and make $5 Million a year."

I certainly wouldn't get in bed with an old foe... Bush going from the Raiders to the Broncos is like Osama leaving his ak47 in a cave in Tora Borra boarding the next flight to America to watch and support Sarah Palin at a tea party rally.

I do not think that Bush will go anywhere....The Raiders were the ONLY team that took the chance on him with a broken leg...Drafted him and kept him for an entire year before playing him....Bush is a Raider! That's it!

I agree..........this will be the first year in his entire career that he will have the same system if I am not mistaken........I look forward to what he can do....if the line is better and he has some confident WR's to throw to then I think he will have a year like his last one with Washington...................

If the line is better.  That is the #1 task.  Receiving #2.  Lets hope Louis Murphy can ERECT a good season\

I just want to put it out there that I appreciate Jason (and Seymour) stepping up and taking leadership roles for this team.  For Rich, he stepped in immediately and became the anchor for the D.  Jason is taking the reins too this year.  I give him some slack and he was bounced around last year with no real definite QB starter until late in the season.  Good to see him stepping up now and being a leader.  Glad to have this on our team as playoff teams have clear cut guys whom the other players can follow.  I love that both Jason and Rich lead by example, with no pissing and moaning.  Seymour has been the man since he got here but Jason had to earn it.  He took his lumps and handled it like a pro.  Good job men.  Nice to see it here in Oakland for a change.

Jonathan Holland signed by Edmonton Eskimos of the CFL

The first thing they're talking about is his speed.  He was put on waivers by the Raiders last September. I wish him well in the CFL.

Boy...you know news must be slow in the NFL right now if I'm posting a story about Jonathan Holland going to the CFL.  :)

Jason Campbell being interviewed over the phone by ProFootballTalk.com's Mike Florio.
Jason talks about how despite the lockout, "most of the team" will be getting together to practice at a "neutral site".

Mike Florio started the segment by saying that everyone's talking about the Lions having potential of being very improved this year and having playoff potential. He says that people aren't talking enough about the Raiders in this light, because he gives the Raiders a better chance of winning their division than he gives the Lions. He says, "the Raiders are on the rise....don't overlook the Raiders".

This is a good segment and lasts about 23 minutes. They talk about a lot of things, including how the Raiders did in the draft, the Lockout, Cam Newton, and more.

All this talk of Nnamdi leaving and Zach Miller getting a new agent and possibly leaving the Raiders....the slim chance of Michael Bush leaving....why buying season tickets would be worth seeing the Raiders without their CORE players? I mean really do you think Jason Campbell will succeed without Miller and Bush?....I don't think so....cause for 1 we don't have a Premiere pro bowl TE other than Miller....2 Dmac can NOT carry a full load!...just look at last season (the best of his career) and he still missed games....without Bush that will be worse and our running game will be average, then once that happens then teams can tee up on JC force him to throw bad balls.....recipe for losing!....So if these 3 guys leave it'll be hard to buy into the 11' season....but the way things are looking free agency probably won't happen!
Nnamdi leaving is not worth even talking about.......he is too big a loss....there are only 2 shutdown corners.........if bush and miller leave we are fucked....................the running game will suck and Campbells security blanket will be gone................I pray that this does not happen......................................

I guess he can....assuming there is a free agency...if not you'll be back in silver and black for one more yr.

All I keep hearing about here in Dallas is that Huff has been working out with the Cowboy players this offseason. I think he will be a Cowboy since RYAN has worked with him..........he has one strike against him because he played for TEXAS.......if he leaves us and goes to DALLAS......................then he can lick my sack and I hope he gets gonorrhea and rots in hell...........................!

Is anyone really surprised................?  Its really bad when a man like John Lucas...who went through an incredible amount of his own self-destruction in his own career would turn his back........Lucas had a track record of success with several athletes..........................................!  I am stunned..........why are people like this given the keys to heaven and other people who are on this forum who work hard for a living not ever given the freak chance?..............................SIMPLY STUNNING!

Refreshing to read that L.Murphy, JC and DHB are working out together this offseason outside of any future team organized activities.

Tweet from L.Murphy:

Headed to finish workout of the week, been on the grind with @jcampbell8 and @DFlash85

RaiderWildeStyle being a bigger man isn't being bullied.  That is not the raider way.  You get smacked, you smack back harder.  How about you address the insulter(2)?

By all indications, Juan has kept his mouth shut.

Things got out of hand when u initiated the disrespect about mexican thug.

Plus I'm saying from this moment for.. just try the chillax method for once :-)
Disagree but will chill unless attacked again
finally the white flag comes out....................................................................................B-utiful!

It's not a white flag.  I've surrendered to nothing.  If I don't get attacked I won't attack
NICE! now let's talk about the reality that the lockout may get denied and players might be able to return and there won't be a salary cap and we'll go back to the way football was in the 90's... Which I think will be in the Raiders favor cause Al has no problem outbidding and overpaying players to be a Raider... So we'll see.... but I read that could be a possibility that no CBA gets done but the Player Assc. will go on as a NON-union organization.... I up for it... if it means football being played in 2011

Maybe that will mean Ea's football monopoly will dissolve and 2k can get back into the football market

I hope so. I was pissed when I had to switch to Madden from 2k. Nothing against Madden himself, just never liked the game they produced. They just got all hurt when 2k was making a way better game, in my opinion, and selling it for $20 bucks on the release date.
I wish they could combine both games...................what really needs to happen is that the Madden makers need to go team up with the boys who make the 2k basketball and the EA HOCKEY GAME......NHL 11 is the best sports game I have ever played..................

I totally agree.

Stanford Routt is on NFL total access showing how he does his "picks" on the QB for 6......maybe he can show us how he gets burned like in the opener against Tennessee! >:(

I thought his pick 6 technique was to get burned for 11 games to sucker the qb into believing he could cover a twin mattress with a cal-king comforter.  The next QB then throws the ball directly 2 him on his 1 yard line and he takes a step into the endzone for the pick six or
His explanation is a april fools joke

Does anyone know if the Raider players are getting together for any "lockout workouts"?

Favorite Raider memory?

11/07/2010 : Sitting next to Randy in the Coliseum and seeing the Raiders come back to beat the Queefs in OT. Was pretty cool seeing Jacoby Ford have a breakout game, with that return on the start of the 2nd half and those 2 incredibly huge catches (1 in 4th Quarter where he cherry picked from Flowers hand & then the 50 yard bomb from JC which sealed the game with FG range)

All time favorite Raider?

Bo Jackson.

Team you hate most?

San Diego.

Favorite Raider memory?

Going out to Oakland for my first game 10-1-2006 - we lost to the Browns...ugh.  I got interviewed by a local fox affiliate after the game and ranted and raved how the team had no fire.  Randy Moss you're a shitbag!

All time favorite Raider?

Jim Otto. 00... They don't call him Mr Raider for nothing. Such a disappointment he never got to win a Superbowl.. He retired in 75 & then the Raiders went onto win in 76. But this guy is definition of team captain if you've ever seen one.

Team you hate most?

In the division, The Broncos.. I come from the city of Brisbane, Australia and our hometown rugby league team is the Brisbane Broncos. Lot of fairweather Denver fans here. But nothing bought me more satisfaction then seeing the Donks lose 59-14.. OWNED!!!

Out of the division, It's gotta be Pittsburgh! Steel Curtain... PFFT~!~~!

Yeah, my current favorite would have to be a toss up between Seymour, Ford, and Bush. McFadden is in there too due to playing like a beast now. Howard used to be, I don't know what happened to him, I miss seeing him torment QBs with his speed and coverage skills.

Gannon/Chucky regime is my all time favorite, I just wanted to throw that picture up because it's so awesome.

I would have to agree with you Juan your most hated teams, I don't really hate all the other teams though. Pats just piss me off the most. Fuck Brady and Billacheat.

I love Bo, but he was a little before my time. Brown was the main man as a grew up and began to comprehend football.
