Video of gun incident involving Raiders' Rolando McClain surfaces
Jerry McDonald, Bay Area News Group

http://www.insidebayarea.com/raiders/ci_20637769/video-incident-involving-raiders-rolando-mcclain-surfaces

Well, I just watched the video of the McClain *incident*... its submitted anonymously so take that for whatever you want- and Rolando seems to be edited out of most of the video.  I wasn't there but here's my take - at first observation I would take these guys for the clowns they are, not the entourage of a starting MLB for the Oakland Raiders.  I just have ZERO tolerance for jerk-offs like this.  No thoughts to the future, just live in the moment - infantile, juvenile thinking...............My prediction - unless McClain has a MONSTER, and I mean F*N HUGE, season this year, he not only loses his starting spot by season's end but he is GONE...see ya...outta here.  I just think he may be gone regardless, they're just waiting for the smoke to clear.  From what I've gathered, Reggie and Dennis have little patience for this shit.  I for one am glad. I am so tired of fuckheads on our team.  McClain is replaceable and he is very undisciplined.  More so, he is fucking dumb.  His football IQ is shit.  Talent can only get you so far, I want guys that have desire/heart as well as athletic skills.

We could shitcan him now and lose the distraction he is bringing.  I wouldn't lose a bit of sleep.

His stupid, smiling dumb-fuck face when he was initially arrested was enough for me.  Fuck this guy.

Rant over.

Found this re-tweet on Adam Shefter's page:

Evan Silva ‏@evansilva

Juron Criner reportedly blowing up #Raiders OTAs. Possession WO with wide catch radius. Logical complement to deep threat Denarius Moore.

I LOVE IT!!!!!
This sounds really  promising ......Moore is the best we have..........I'll bet this guy will be a badass!

What kind of Raider off-season is this? No crazy draft picks, no arrests (except one -- thank you, DHB), no idiots waking up drunk and beat up in Vegas, no giant contracts offered to crappy players (thank you, Javon, for so many memories), no purple drank ... nothing! All we've gotten are logical draft picks, well-planned signings, and a team that seems to run ... according to plan. That's not the Raiders! I need drama, I need insanity, I need shit to complain about! Even the owner going to a Clippers game got explained away as not a threat that the team would leave. What?? The owner having a nice interview with the local media and saying he wants to stay in Oakland?? God help me. At this rate, we'll start winning, and where's the fun in that? ... no ... wait ... oh yeah, that is fun. it's been a while since i've seen it with any regularity, but i seem to remember it being fun. didn't we used to, like, win more than we lost? that used to happen, right? so ... maybe that could happen again, if this whole "run the team like a professional organization" thing works out? well ... can we still have a little drama? can a player knock up a cheerleader or something? or like in cincinnati, can one of the cheerleaders be a high school teacher who gets busted for having sex with her students? that would be hilarious. please. throw me a bone here.

Hey Robert...the report about Mark Davis being at that Clippers game that you mentioned. I saw a later article where Mark Davis was asked about that, and he said it was completely false. He said he does have season tickets for the Clippers, as well as for the Warriors....but was not at that game sitting with the stadium developer guy. Maybe it was a false report....or maybe our owner was LYING. There's your possible drama!

a raider owner seen out in public? that's already crazy. when was al ever seen going anywhere besides raider HQ and a raider game?

More scrutiny needs to be pointed at Raiders picking up the JETS Head scout.

Just because someone is from New York, doesn't make him good. This scout must have had rocks in his head to tell Rex Ryan to move up and take Mark Sanchez.

The offseason is certainly a change, But if the quietness doesn't translate to wins (8-8 or better) then I think I'd prefer the roller coaster ride of a turbulent offseason & bring in Character Guys to help us get the wins.

Show news day today, and the last few days. This was the only new Raiders related article I could find today. I'll recheck later in the afternoon and then post the Daily News Links. Hopefully there will be something new by then besides this article. Good article though! Best wishes to Jon Alston. Sounds like he's doing well.

Raiders coach Dennis Allen sat down with Tim Kawakami Wednesday and one of the nuggets during a 20-minute conversation is that Tommy Kelly would be the nose tackle should Oakland employ a 3-4 defense.
