I have to strongly disagree. You may be done with him, but by no means do I believe the organization should be. I think he needs to have a shot in the new regime with the new coaches and new philosophy. He has raw talent, his play hasn't been horribly bad, and under all the coaching changes hasn't had a real shot at learning a real system. Give the kid a chance to be disciplined and time to grow/learn from it. If he doesn't, then cut ties. People need to get off their moral high horses and stop being so quick to throw others under the bus. I'm not defending his actions at all, I just believe he needs a chance under the new Raiders.

I'll be the first to admit I am wrong if he pans out. He's an immature child and for this fan, I don't want him on our team. Not that I have really have a say anyway $:-\$

I know he hasn't done much, but he hasn't been absolutely piss poor either. I mean realistically, many of our first rounders hadn't/haven't panned out well learning under Davis in his last few years with us. The amount of penalties we've racked up every season speaks volumes as to the lack of discipline these players received over the past few years. So, am I surprised to see the bullshit some of our younger, probably highly misguided youngsters with fat contracts get into? Hell no, I almost expect it. Now that we have leaders in the driver's seat that are willing to put their foot down (McKenzie, Allen) and not play favorites because X player was given a fat check and may be a freak of nature (Davis Sr.), then we see what really happens in the aftermath X player's immature actions. I don't even believe we have the personal to pull off a 3-4, let alone a 4-3 for a whole season, so he must stay until we have a legit replacement and LB corp to keep the opposing RB's at bey. Which we never seem to accomplish.

The guy (white t-shirt) that is doing the punching isn't McClain. That guy is the co-defendant (Jadoriaus Willingham) who is reportedly going to testify against McClain. McClain is only shown a couple of times in the video, and the only thing it shows him doing is standing around or walking.....except for one part where it says he is "taunting" the beating victim while they are standing inside the front door of the house. McClain is the tallest one, wearing a black hat and silver/black jacket with light colored sweat pants. The video doesn't show McClain doing anything illegal, but it shows that he was definitely hanging out with a bunch of "punks" as you said.

Well, I just watched the video of the McClain *incident*... its submitted anonymously so take that for whatever you want- and Rolando seems to be edited out of most of the video. I wasn't there but here's my take - at first observation I would take these guys for the clowns they are, not the entourage of a starting MLB for the Oakland Raiders. I just have ZERO tolerance for jerk-offs like this. Talent can only get you so far, I want guys that have desire/heart as well as athletic skills.
