According to that interview with Corkran, looks like Bush might be leaving. The Raiders, under the radar, signed a talented kid named Lonyae Miller who played ball at Fresno State. He's a big kid, 6'0'', 232 lbs. Perhaps he will be the Bush replacement? I am trying to be optimistic but there are so many backs in the league who are or have been hidden gems. What I am sure of is that Mckenzie will want depth, he's been around long enough to know that.
I understand the frustration with McFadden and I know this topic has been beaten half to death but in my opinion, DMAC is the best back in the league when healthy. Yup, I said it - better than AP, Ray Rice, Foster or LeSean McCoy. There is not a back who has his speed and cutting ability that also runs that hard. More than that, he gives you 110% when he is on the field. (He is also going to be playing for a contract let's not forget.)
Bush wants to be a starter in the NFL. Could you blame him? He's tired of being #2. I know we want to keep him but the way he plays he is completely run down the last third of the season when given the lion's share of carries. Yes, I know we should have alternated between the two but we can thank our former HC for the inability to to comprehend that...perhaps he was too busy with the "best trade in football."
Bottom line is our players' salaries are so f'd up....it's frustrating.....huge salaries with little production.
