San Diego Chargers star linebacker Shawne Merriman was arrested on domestic violence charges filed by Reality TV star Tila Tequila. She accused him of choking and throwing her to the ground. He was charged with two felonies, battery and false imprisonment. Raider Greg gives us his views on this story.

The Raiders 2009 home opener is only 5 days away on September 14th at 7:15pm Pacific Daylight Time. Do the Raiders have a chance to win this game? To say that the Raiders performance against New Orleans in their 3rd preseason game last Saturday in Oakland was disappointing would be an understatement. Raider Greg reviews last weekend's preseason game in San Francisco vs the 49ers. The Raiders may have lost the game, they may have given up lots of yardage against the run, but it's too early to freak out over the Raiders.

Javon Walker says his knee is pain free for the first time in several years, due to a special surgical procedure he had outside of the US during the offseason.
