when the cowboys used to lose in playoff games they would say the other team didn;t beat us-we beat ourselves...so living hear in texas oilers fans took TONS of verbal abuse from cowboys fans-it was pretty nasty(still is)...sound familiar raider fans in the bay area..?..the verbal abuse from the 49ers fans(NONSTOP)....

when i was younger i also used to follow the miami dolphins/dan marino/don shula...the dolphins LOST to the 49ers 38-16 in the super bowl in palo alto,cal...i remember hearing the bay area/49ers media members that miami dolphins should get rid of everyone with their last name starting with "B"...remember the killer b miami defense...?
I have heard steve young acting like a Pompous jerk when talking about the 49ers(FOR YEARS)-him talking bad about the raiders in a typical 49ers condescending way.Just last weekend i heard some 49ers fans saying we are undefeated in super bowls...all these ravens fans will be upset when they lose against the 49ers on super bowl sunday-to them it was a given .
ask any raiders fan in the bay area about the verbal abuse they have taken over All the years from the 49ers faithful.....
saints fans in new orleans were wearing their saints gear during super bowl week-NOt 49ers stuff...and they were chearing for the Ravens....same thing for all the cowboy fans i encountered at a houston area bar...same thing for texans fans-EVERYONE chearing for the ravens-only ONE dude was wearing a 49ers crabtree jersey...

the story is pretty funny, with a niner fan getting scammed out of $5900. it would be really hard for a raider fan to get scammed out of playoff tickets ... because the raiders would first have to make it to the playoffs. ouch.

Thanks Matt. Yeah, I'm going with another retired guy I worked with at the fire dept for years....he's a 49ers fan. I may even bring my camcorder and see if he wants to host his own 49ers video from Bourbon Street that we can put on YouTube. He's pretty funny so it could be entertaining. Don't get the wrong idea though, I am DEFINITELY not rooting for the 49ers!

i wonder sometimes why tim brown says this shit. this can't help his odds of getting into the hall of fame, since voting is going on now. i don't think callahan deliberately sabotaged the game. why would he screw up his chances for the rest of his career? callahan changed the game plan at the last minute because he was being out-coached. he didn't know what to do ... because he sucked.

I agree. No way do you "throw" the game when you have a chance to be a Super Bowl winning coach.

Callahan sucked, Chucky knew our playbook and our players, Tampa's defense was lights out, and we got beat down.

Ugh, it pisses me off just thinking about that game.

Superbowl Odds.. My formula is simple.

I look for whatever teams have matches against the NFC WEST that year. (In 2010- AFCWEST Chargers, Chiefs & Raiders all posted records 8-8 & above, The NFC South played the NFCWEST & had Tampa Bay, Atlanta & New Orleans all finish above .500).. THE NFC WEST hasn't really improved through the draft & I can't see a lot of Impact Free Agents joining those franchises.

In 2011 the NFC WEST plays AFCNorth & NFCEast... I'd probably hedge my bets by putting money on Baltimore & Pittsburgh & then Philadelphia in the NFCEast (that's such a competitive division)

My logic behind that is cause teams like Pit & Balt have a chance to win 4 guaranteed games from STL, SF, SEA & ARI. If you have an easier schedule then you're likely to secure home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

I think the Raiders odds are fair game... Very good to see the Chiefs odds favoured out. 35 to 1 and Chargers back to 12-1 (on a side note, you're a uneducated gambler if you ever put money on SD to win a Superbowl... You need to go to Rehabilitation if you bet year after year on the BOLTS)
