Raiders history: How many times have they started 0-2? How many wins total?

2007   L, L, W, W          4                       Lane Kiffin
2006   L, L, L, L            2                       Art Shell

2003   L, W, L, W          4                       Bill Callahan
2002   W, W, W, W      11                       Bill Callahan
2001   W, L, W, W       10                       Jon Gruden
2000   W, W, L, W       12                       Jon Gruden
1999   L, W, W, L          8                       Jon Gruden
1998   L, W, L, W          8                       Jon Gruden
1997   L, L, W, L           4                       Joe Bugel

1987   W, W, W, L       5                         Tom Flores
1986   L, L, L, W          8                        Tom Flores
1985   W, L, L, W        12                       Tom Flores

1980   W, L, W, L         11                      Tom Flores   (my first year as a Raiders season ticket holder!)
1979   L, W, W, L          7                       John Madden
1978   W, W, W, W      11                       John Madden

Note: This is the 9th time in Raiders history that they've started the year 0-2 since the league went to a 16 game schedule in '78. (2012, 2007, 2006, 2005, 1997, 1996, 1994, 1992, 1986) The most total wins they had in any of those years was nine (in 1994). The least total wins was two (in 2006).

Also note however that in 1987, the Raiders started the year 3-0, but won only 2 more games the rest of the way, for a total of 5 wins. That got Tom Flores fired.

Put any comments to the Raiders History items in here, along with any history contributions you'd like to make.

I'm putting locks on the other Raiders History topics to make the entries in them easier to read. We'll keep all the comments in this folder.
