Moss plans to play at least one more year
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/01/27/moss-plans-to-play-at-least-one-more-year/

for those who know football, they realize how important Moss has been to the San Fran offense.  He is no longer a #1 but a serious threat that must be accounted for easing pressure off Crabtree and Davis.  I would be interested to see him in arizona if the 9ers don't keep him and give some relief to Fitzgerald.  Then if they sign Vick, they would have a potential for a very good offense

FUCK RANDY MOSS..... HE IS DEAD TO THE RAIDER NATION BRO!

I'm surprised Harris was actually able to hit him. I'd expect him to make a move on the guy and miss ... repeatedly. You'd think the guy could have just walked right past Harris, after Harris false started a few times.

Man, that's a lot of exploring!

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/01/28/jets-have-explored-jamarcus-russell/

wow, the jets are even more tone-deaf to their fans than the raiders have been in recent years. they sign tebow and then don't play him (because he sucks), they give dirty sanchez a giant contract and then bench him, they suck badly, and now they are exploring signing the biggest bust of all time. wow. talk about anti-marketing ...

i'd rather see russell go to another afc west team, so we can boo and beat his ass twice a year. manning goes down, and russell takes the field ... and denver fans start to cry ...

He must be really serious this time. He's almost down to 300 lbs! He's being helped by Jeff Garcia and Marshall Faulk.

The Jets need a QB...bwahahaha!!!

He has no drive and questionable talent (any that he had was gone after leaving LSU).

JaWalrus will be a ESPN 30 for 30 film someday.

his timing with press announcements is as good as it was as qb. he says he's lost 12 pounds, a small amount for a pro athlete who's already in shape. but he still weighs 308 pounds! why not wait to call the press until he's down to 275 or 280? this fucker wants a pat on the back for getting down to 308? he could probably drop 12 pounds by switching to diet purple drank. who in the hell is advising him?

it's just as bad as the last time he reached out to the press, when he was supposedly working with john lucas. jawalrus said he'd learned from all the things he did. 'for example,' the interviewer asked him. 'uhh, i'm not really sure what i did wrong.' you know his agent, or whoever the hell is advising him, had to be shitting himself at that moment. practice your lines, jamarcus! the interview is only 5 minutes long!!!

did he build the 50-yard field he said he was going to build a year ago? and why did it take him 2 years to say he was thinking about building a field? he's been sitting on his fat ass, admittedly not interested in football, but now he says he wants to play. uhh, dude, the season is over. too bad you finally got interested in january.

you can't make this shit up. if a comedian made up a character like this, we'd laugh and say it was too unrealistic. and we fucking drafted him. wow.

New stadium each year for our away game...
« Reply #101 on: August 05, 2012, 04:40:20 PM »
     Hey Kev,
It seems like the away game that Randy/Greg and co will be at this year is in Atlanta...I'm trying to attend a game out west and everyone else is going East..lol....let's all meet in Kansas City next year!!:O)

Not us Steve (no KC next year). We can only do one away game a year, and we already went to KC. KC was great, but we need to do a new stadium each year. Too many stadiums we've never seen to be doing repeats.

China Doll Upset
« Reply #99 on: August 02, 2012, 12:40:09 AM »
Apparently Chaz "China Doll" Schilens didn't like Jets CB Cromartie saying he (Cromartie) was the 2nd best receiver on the team. Boo hoo. Schilens said he talked with Cromartie. He then blew out his knee, stubbed his toe, and sprained his vagina while walking away.

I like Schilens. He seems like a nice guy, and he could be a good player, if he could ever stop being constantly injured. For him to complain that someone who actually plays, like, every game thinks he's better than him, that's just ... wow. Hasn't he learned that in the NFL, it's either put up or shut up? There are no Al scholarships in NY, dude.

Hey Steve,
The tailgate was off the hook! Everyone should experience that at least once in their lifetime!
It was great meeting you and everyone else there. I think about it all of the time!

There are a few Raider Fans here, I'm always bumping into them.  It's Eagle territory out here though, who tend to be dillusional, even the team's claiming that they will be a dynasty.

Not sure if we'll be able to make any games this year, though.  My fiancee's daughter was married this year and that cost a pretty penny.  I'd like to go to the game in Baltimore, it's only a couple of hours away from us.

For those of us with virtual season tickets, NFL Sunday Ticket under $200 this year.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/04/20/directv-drops-price-of-sunday-ticket-under-200/

This is great news! I hope they keep the price under $200. It was getting very expensive. Maybe a few subscribers dropped out because of the high pricing.

Go Raiders!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Here's the latest on the NFL Sunday Ticket "lower price".

NFL SUNDAY TICKET MAX offers the ultimate football experience. For five payments of $59.99, you can see every NFL game, every Sunday on your TV or on your smartphone, plus enjoy DIRECTV's own Red Zone Channel®, Game Mix, Short Cuts and Player Tracker. Total cost would be $299.95

For the lower price of $199.95, you will not get the games on your smartphone, computer or tablet. No DIRECTV's own Red Zone Channel®. No Short Cuts.

I was automatically billed for the "Max" package but I called Directv.  They asked if I was familiar with the new Sunday Ticket Max, I said yes but that I was not happy about the Red Zone Channel being moved to this package.  The CSR said he will see if I can get that channel at no additional charge for the year.  By the time the call ended, I received the entire NFL Sunday Ticket Max upgrade at no additional charge, just paying for the $199.95 NFL Sunday Ticket price for the year!

NFL relaxes blackout rule....teams need to sell as few as 85% of the seats now

but  "...Under the new rule, each team has more flexibility to establish its own seat-sales benchmark as long as it is 85% or higher. To discourage teams from setting easy benchmarks, teams will be forced to share more of the revenue when they exceed it."

So I guess that means that if a teams sets their "benchmark" at 85%, and they end up selling out 100%.....they will have to share more of that last 15% than they did before. If they set it at 95% for instance, they share a lower percentage except for the last 5%.

Also, I just found out a little more info. Teams have to notify the NFL before the season starts as to what percentage they are opting for (if they want a percentage lower than 100%). They must select the same percentage for every game. So if you only want to have to sell 85% to avoid a blackout, it must be 85% for every game....even the popular ones that are likely to sell out 100%. Since the Raiders sold out every game last year, and there is a lot of excitement about the team going into this season, I would expect the Raiders to just keep things like they were in the past and not lower the benchmark percentage.
