another funny one:

Oakland held running back Jamaal Charles to 12 yards on seven touches (four rushes) in the first half, and he had only one carry for a 2-yard loss in the second half.

Head coach Romeo Crennel was asked if Charles has healthy.

"As far as I know," he said.

Then why only five carries?

"Now, that I'm not exactly sure, either," he said.

Yeah, the only bad thing is that they've beaten us 7 of the last 8 in OUR house. And before that, when they had Marty Schottenheimer as coach....they were beating us home AND away for years. His overall record against the Raiders was 27–6! That counts his years as head coach of the Chargers. The best news we ever got was when the Chargers announced they were firing Marty and hiring Norv Turner!

Six in a row in their house is nice, but don't get TOO excited about it....until we can win consistently home and away.

Now we just need to beat the Chiefs in Oakland on December 16th to complete the sweep for 2012. And string together a few more wins against other teams in the mean time.

it's the entrance/exit where gladiators would enter the arena. so, in fancy KC-talk, they don't say "entrance" or "exit." They say "vomitory." Ooh la la. "Pardon me, sir, but you may not loiter in the vomitory as you are blocking my egress." But we all know it's where KC fans go to expel their nausea after realizing they paid good money to watch bad KC football.

agreed!!! we should be able to go man almost all game and stack the box to shut down the run game. As long as our safeties provide help if someone gets lose this shouldnt be an issue especially with Quinn as QB. I like him cuz im a ND fan but his accuracy isnt that great and his balls can sail on him often. Number onwe is that run game, shut it down and make them depend on Quinn

After beating #32 ranked Jacksonville, the Raiders moved up one spot from #29 to #28. Our next two opponents are #31 ranked KC and #26 ranked Tampa Bay.
